Built for the Night
Event posters, social sets, motion and screens for club culture. Strong type, 3D and motion: one recognisable language, a character for every night. By Pascal Garten and Niko (dyspersif).
01. ONE OBJECT, ONE LINE-UP
SYNTHESIS by Niko (2024) SOLARIUM Vol. II by Pascal (2022) , both for solarsystemsoundsystem in Dresden, Germany. A glass sphere, a chrome figure: one 3D object carries the visual, the type does the rest.
02. POSTERS THAT MOVE
Every night needs a version for stories and screens. Two animated posters by Niko from the Dresden scene.
Clubkultur, Kulturfloor at Tolerade 2024: a glass cube carries the line-up.
Klubnacht N°131, Kalif Storch × Mutabor (2026).
03. ONE LOOK, EVERY FORMAT
Social Sunday, a biweekly series at Nachteck Dresden (Niko, 2023). One look for the whole run: a print poster, a post for every date and templates to introduce the artists.
The print poster: DIN format, CMYK, background generated in TouchDesigner. The same look, date by date.
04. MONOCHROME OBJECTS
Black and white, one object, light and material: product animation by Pascal for MoVa, Temeraire bag and Bad Portier, Carbon reversible bomber jacket. The same reduction a monochrome event look needs.
05. BUILT TOGETHER
OLAKALA Fuzzy Knit (2024): animation by Pascal, environment design by Niko.
06. TYPE IN 3D
36 Days of Type 2023 by Pascal: one letter or number a day, built in 3D from chrome, glass and iridescent surfaces. Type as an object, ready to carry a line-up.
Next step: a paid test brief for one night. Poster, story and screen, as stills and in motion.
Thank you!
